RED ROCK DESERT RAMPAGE 
St. George hosts the Red Rock Desert Rampage. A professional mountain bike race in Utah’s Dixie. The annual event (held in March) is the first race of the NORBA sanctioned Intermountain Cup Region point series. Prizes of cash and merchandise will be awarded. The annual Washington County Fair features

HUNTSMAN WORLD SENIOR GAMES 
October in the St. George area. The Huntsman World Senior Games is a very popular competition for thousands of seniors all over the world. The sporting event sponsors worldwide peace, friendship and health. In addition to the many athletic events, the Games host “healthy lifestyle seminars,” spectacular opening and closing ceremonies, receptions, dinners, band concerts and other social activities that encourage the participants to come together socially and educationally. ST. GEORGE MARATHON/MAYOR’S WALK  October in St. George. The St. George Marathon, the largest in the Intermountain West, is a point-to-point race starting in the majestic Pine Valley Mountains. The course descends into beautiful desert territory past the stunning red cliffs of Snow Canyon  State Park and finishes at Worthen Park in St. George.  The marathon takes pride in its organization, beautiful surroundings, community support and massive volunteer force. This annual competition brings more than 4,000 participants from around the world to sunny St. George. This year’s registration is by lottery. ANNUAL ST. GEORGE ARTS FESTIVAL 
Location: 865 Main Street, St. George, Utah.  Annual St. George Art Festival is held on Easter Weekend Friday and Saturday. Festivities will begin around 10:00 a.m. and last until 6:00 p.m. The Event is known as the “Friendliest Festival in the West” and hosts a variety of fine art and artists from all over the United States. The food is always excellent and there is continuous entertainment throughout the 2-day event. Call St. George Leisure Services at 634-5850. 
FOLK ART AND CRAFTERS MARKET 
Easter Weekend, St. George. The 6th Annual Folk
Art and Crafters Market will be held at the Dixie Center. The doors open from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. The 2000 Market featured around 100 artisans
displaying some of the finest folk arts and crafts from around the country. This highly popular and unique market is a one of a kind event. For more info call Tern Bailey at 628-3984. 
LIONS DIXIE ROUND-UP 
September 16-18th Sun Bowl, St. George Join the Lions Club for the annual rodeo celebration. Approved by the Professional Cowboy’s Association, this wild weekend extravaganza is great entertainment for all rodeo fans! Beauty Parade: Thursday 16,5:00 pm, Children’s Parade: Friday 17,5:00, General Parade: Saturday 18,5:00 pm. Rodeo: 8:00 - 10:30 nightly. PARADE OF HOMES

Builders Association and Heritage Bank, this spectacular showcase of Southern Utah homes and decor is a “must-see” event. Over 20,000 people annually tour the homes on parade to see the latest innovations and designs for the home. Tickets go on sale the evening before the show at the Red Cliffs Mall or any Lin’s Market.
