Observe what years of wind & water can do to sturdy rocks as you drive through the Valley Of Fire State
Park. The Valley of Fire State Park is located 60 miles north of Las Vegas off Hwy 1-15.
The oldest park in Nevada, it was dedicated in 1935 and consists of 34, 880 acres
enfolding a valley of unique treasures. Picnic with your family and friends near the Seven Sisters or the Atlatl Rock. Nature Lovers can hike through the Petroglyph Canyon Self-Guiding Trail,
Mouse’s Tank, Fire Canyon/Silica Dome, or to the Elephant Rock. Come fill your
photo album with pictures of unusual rock formations, such as The Beehives, Arch
Rock, Piano Rock, The White Domes and Rainbow Vista (a favorite photo point). Come marvel at the rock art left by the Indians that
came to this valley to hunt and hold religious
ceremonies. Come perceive the secrets that the
rocks have hidden for hundreds of years.
Experience the Valley Of Fire State Park.
